The King Edward Bar, or "The Eddie" as locals call it, is an intimate and friendly bar, warm and comfortable perfect for your gathering "off the beaten path." The bar seats about 40, around small tables, on stools right at the bar, and on the side porch in the early evenings. The bar is air-conditioned and comfortable, bartenders are friendly and knowlegeable, and the crowd is as mixed as our drinks. The Eddie is an institution in Cape May, and a place where locals come for a change of pace from the busy downtown establishments.
|

Here, you won't find a sports bar atmosphere,
though there IS a television, and the bartender will turn it on at your request!
|

The King Edward is a popular nightspot and ideal
for wedding and group gatherings too! The
original fireplace and mantle, plus fresh flowers
cozy up the King Ed, making it a welcoming spot!
|
At The Eddie, Hotel guests, outside guests mingle with locals and even staff, where longtime
friendships are forged over and after drinks! The King Edward's decor changes from time to time, and
now it's the best it's ever been, with warm green walls, accented beneath with a beautiful rich eggplant
(or aubergine) color, and original artwork and archives adorn the walls. COME AND JOIN US!
